AXIS Chile – THE STRATEGIC FORUM FOR ENERGY, RESOURCES AND INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT IN CHILE AND LATIN AMERICA

Organised by The Voice of Renewables and supported by Chilean Association for Renewable Energies ACERA , the annual AXIS Chile Summit and Exhibition will take place on December 2nd, 2026 in Santiago de Chile.

Chile stands at the intersection of the world’s most important energy, resource and industrial trends. As one of the world’s most resource-rich nations, it possesses vast reserves of critical minerals including copper, lithium, molybdenum and iron ore, alongside emerging rare earth opportunities that are essential for electrification, battery manufacturing, advanced technologies and next-generation industrial supply chains. These resources have positioned Chile as a strategic partner in the global energy transition and a key supplier to industries driving future economic growth.

Complementing its mineral wealth is an unparalleled renewable energy advantage. The Atacama Desert in northern Chile offers some of the highest solar irradiation levels on Earth, creating ideal conditions for utility-scale solar generation and low-cost green hydrogen production. In the south, Patagonia’s world-class wind resources provide equally compelling opportunities for renewable power and the development of green hydrogen and green ammonia export industries. Together, these natural advantages are attracting billions of dollars in investment and establishing Chile as one of the world’s most competitive destinations for clean energy, industrial decarbonisation and sustainable economic development.

CHILE’S RENEWABLE ENERGY POTENTIAL

By combining abundant solar energy in the north, powerful wind resources in the south, and strategic access to Pacific export routes, Chile is positioning itself as one of the world’s most competitive and lowest-cost producers of green hydrogen and its derivatives.

AXIS Chile Summit and Exhibition brings together senior decision-makers shaping the future of Chile and Latin America’s energy, resources and industrial sectors for a high-level executive summit focused on one of the world’s most strategically important markets. As global demand for clean energy, critical minerals and low-carbon industrial products accelerates, Chile stands at the centre of a once-in-a-generation economic opportunity.

The summit will examine how the country can capitalise on its unrivalled renewable energy resources, world-leading copper and lithium reserves, and growing industrial capabilities to strengthen its position as a global investment destination.

Across four executive-level panel discussions, industry leaders, investors, policymakers, utilities, mining companies, project developers and technology providers will explore the opportunities and challenges associated with building the infrastructure, supply chains and industrial ecosystems required to support long-term growth. Discussions will cover energy infrastructure and grid expansion, critical minerals and resource development, hydrogen commercialisation, industrial decarbonisation, electrification and digital transformation. ATACAMA Summit and Exhibition offers a unique platform for strategic dialogue, investment engagement and cross-sector collaboration at a time when Chile’s decisions will have far-reaching implications for global energy security, industrial competitiveness and the energy transition.
