Moldova is moving closer to the EU and at the same time starts its journey towards energy independence and decarbonisation.
Recent launch of the Republic of Moldova’s first renewable energy capacity auctions is encouraging investors to participate and contribute to Moldova’s sustainable future. The auction, aimed at attracting national and international investors, represents Moldova’s commitment to diversifying its energy mix by introducing 165 MW of new renewable energy capacity, consisting of 105 MW for wind and 60 MW for photovoltaic installations.
Moldova Energy Forum is organised in close co-operation with the Moldovan Ministry of Energy. Dorin Junghietu is an expert in oil, gas and energy. He has been involved in multiple activities of coordination, delivery, construction and commissioning of major projects. He has also been involved in the exploration, transportation and processing of hydrocarbons and energy for globally recognized clients.
He has experience of work in oil and energy companies, such as Lukoil in Romania, companies in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Turkey.
Dorin Junghietu studied abroad and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering.
