Poland is rapidly advancing renewable energies deployment as a cornerstone of their decarbonisation strategies.
Leveraging abundant renewable energy resources, the country is targeting 29 GW by 2030 and 46.2 GW by 2040 of solar. At the same time Poland is aiming for 19 GW by 2030 and 25.8 GW by 2040 of onshore wind, while offshore wind sees the planning for 9 GW by 2030 and 17.9 GW by 2040. Biomass is projected at 5 GW by 2030 and 1.6 GW by 2040.
These initiatives are driving industrial transformation, clean mobility, and energy independence – positioning Poland as a key player in Europe’s green energy economy.
